If you're coming from City Park Bus Terminal facing Mahkamah Kota Kinabalu (KK courthouse), the city shoplots are within 5-10mins walking distance. As the name implies, the terminal is located right next to a park where you can see tourists and locals taking a stroll and relaxing. If you're up for a half hour walk, you'll reach the Filipino handicraft market, the city markets, as well as Todak Waterfront.

From Padang Merdeka bus station (Airport Bus station), you have the Padang Merdeka field; the historic site of where the formation of Malaysia was declared and the venue of past national events. Up ahead along Jalan Pantai is one of the country's monuments (Tugu Peringatan Malaysia) where you'll find a roundabout with the statue of a Great Egret at its center (signifying the union of Sabah, Sarawak with Peninsula in forming Malaysia). Similar to City Park, it is within the city limits and therefore only a 5-10mins walking distance to some of the shoplots.

As for Terminal Bas Bandaraya in Inanam, the terminal is directly opposite a few town shoplots. Nearby stores include Giant Hypermarket and, because it is an industrial area, there are plenty of automotive, machinery, household tools and items, and furniture houses. The nearest beach is only 10mins away by car, and a bit further to KK city would be 15mins. UBER and Grab cab services are available and only cost roughly RM10 at most, for both of the aforementioned destinations.
