It's my first time in Perlis and I want to explore as much as I can but I don't know where to start.

Well if it’s only for the weekend you might want to look at heading to the Wang Kelian market. It is located along the border of Perlis and Thailand. You would be able to purchase cheap clothes, some food, household items and more at this market. The best part is that people can only cross the border between the countries without the passport only for the weekends.

Another place to explore is Gua Kelam, if you are into nature and adventure. The only way into the cave is through a wooden suspension bridge which spans 8ft wide. Inside the cave you have your usual bats and other animals. There are also some old mine operation tools within the cave as well, reminiscence of the British reign in Malaysia.
