I just arrived in Kuala Lumpur and it's my first visit to Malaysia. Been wanting to try a durian fruit that is a local favorite.

Despite being a local delicacy, durians are seasonal fruits and can be quite pricey depending on the type of durian and the time of the year you eat it. It is best to eat it during its seasonal periods as the supply of durian is quite high, making it cheaper at most stalls that sell them.

As for a suitable place to eat durian, I would recommend the durian stall in SS2, Petaling Jaya. The place is huge with tables placed and is well-lit with a variety of durians for sale including the Musang King. They also sell durian cendol and coconut water as well.
