I have yet to take a bus from KK to Brunei, although I can give you a rough estimate of 6-7 hours by car. A breakdown of the journey would simply be: Kota Kinabalu - Sipitang(2-3 hours), Sipitang-Lawas(0.45-1 hours), and Lawas - Brunei(2-3 hours). Of course, travelling by bus may add another 1-2 hours to the journey for pit stops, pick-up points within the route and traffic.

So far, I know Sipitang Express to serve that route and it has only one(1) trip daily, which is at 8am. You can check online too to buy your ticket. Www.catchthatbus.com, www.easybook.com, and www.busonlineticket.com sell tickets for RM100.00 each.

P.S. Don't forget to bring your passport!!!
